Instructor of Harp

 

Monica Hargrave holds a Bachelor of Music degree in harp performance from the Indiana University School of Music and a Master of Arts degree in music from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She has made radio appearances on Talk Back Atlanta, and television appearances for Good Day Atlanta. Monica has three CD recordings, Divine Time, Divine Season, and Harp to Heart

Ms. Hargrave serves as the principal harpist with the Albany and Gainesville Symphony Orchestras. She has also performed frequently with the Greenville, Macon and Columbus Symphonies. Throughout her career as a professional harpist, Ms. Hargrave has backed artists such as Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and Johnny Mathis.
