Sheet musicJanFest

"JanFest” (pioneering band invitational established in 1950) is a four-day event for high school band musicians. Students are nominated for participation by their director by way of this website early in the academic year after receiving the JanFest announcement. 

MidFest

"MidFest" (established 1990) is a three-day event for middle school band musicians. Students are nominated for participation by their director by way of this website early in the academic year after receiving the MidFest announcement in the mail. 

Choral Day

The annual fall UGA Choral Day is a day of choral music-making designed to offer a high level honor-choir experience for high school singers from all around Georgia.

 

SPLICE Festival

A three-day festival that blends engaging live performances with new technologies. Composers and performers gather for a weekend of concerts and presentations covering topics such as aesthetics, technology, and issues of performance practice, with the goal of inspiring, educating, and sharing information amongst attendees and host institution students. SPLICE Festival is designed to foster community and to create bonds between performers and composers dedicated to music that involves dynamic, live performance with technology.
