There is a firm University requirement stipulating the following: candidates for first baccalaureate degrees must earn at least 45 of the last 60 semester credit hours in residence. In addition, 15 of the semester credit hours required for a student’s major must be earned in residence. For a second baccalaureate degree, 30 hours must be earned in residence.
In addition to the regular University transfer application, transfer students must apply to and audition for the School of Music.
In some cases, transfer students may need to schedule and perform an audition before they can officially apply to the University or to the School of Music. If you think you may need to schedule an audition before you can officially apply to the University, please email Music Admissions, or call 706-542-2005.
