UGA-Atlanta Symphony Composer Workshop

Robert Spano, musical director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchstra, will be visiting UGA on Friday, March 23rd for a day of events supported by the President's Venture Fund, the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts. 

 

Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony will read and rehearse the compositions of the 6 winners of the UGA/ASO Composers Workshop Call-For-Scores. This event will take place in Hodgson Hall from 1:30pm-4:00 pm.
 

This event is free and open to the public!
 

There will be a Pre-Reading Q&A Panel Discussion with Robert Spano and the student composers held Edge Hall from 12:30-1:15PM. The discussion is an event in the Willson Center’s 2018 Global Georgia Initiative.
