Michael Heald and Liza Stepanova, both professors in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, join forces to bring us an evening of music by Mozart, Clara Schumann, and Robert Schumann. Heald also shall be giving the world première of a new work for solo violin by Dr.

Chris Martin, principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic, will perform a solo recital in Ramsey Concert Hall on Thursday, February 1, at 6 p.m. He will also give a master class in Edge Hall on Wednesday January 31, at 1:25 p.m.  

Three of the School of Music’s faculty members, along with a guest artist, will come together on Friday, January 26th at 8 pm in Ramsey Concert Hall for an evening of Brahms. D.

Athens Music and The State Botanical Garden of Georgia will be putting on the inaugural workshop and concert on Thursday, January 25th at the Day Chapel at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia located at 2450 S. Milledge Avenue. The workshop will kick off at 4:30 p.m.

Brian Losch, Grammy Award winning recording engineer, will be in residence as a Willson Center Distinguished Artist on Monday, January 22, 2018.  His residency will conclude with a public presentation on his work in Edge Recital Hall at 5:30 PM on January 22.
