The UGA Wind Symphony performs with guest conductor Jorge Lhez on an entirely South American inspired program on Wednesday, March 28, 8 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall.

University of Georgia's British Brass Band will be performing Tuesday, March 27th at 8 pm in Hodgson Concert Hall. The band is under the direction of the William F. and Pamela P. Prokasy Professor in the Arts, Philip Smith. The concert is free and open to the public.

Robert Spano, musical director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchstra, will be visiting UGA on Friday, March 23rd for a day of events supported by the President's Venture Fund, the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, and the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts. 

 

Recording studios have evolved greatly over the past 50 years, to the point where today’s hobbyist has more tools and tracks than the greatest studios of the 1960’s or ’70’s, with far greater capabilities for fine-tuning a mix, editing, or even removing noises and correcting intonation problems…

The Thursday Scholarship Series welcomes the UGA Hodgson Singers to the stage on March 22nd. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall located in the Performing Arts Center next to the Hugh Hodgson School of Music (HHSOM).
