Rachmaninoff has been known as a barnstorming pianist/composer of the late romantic period. However, his work as a symphonist is equally impressive as you will hear in his second symphony. The score is dedicated to Sergei Taneyev, a Russian composer, teacher, theorist, author, and pupil of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This evening will be conducted by Nicholas Han as his final Doctor of Musical Arts recital. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 21, 2025.
