Nichole Botsoe

HHSOM Ambassador
Nichole (she/her/hers) is a native of Gray, Georgia, and a second-year Honors Music Education student at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, where she has the privilege of studying under Dr. Joshua Bynum. She graduated from Jones County High School in 2024, where she performed with the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. 
 
At the University of Georgia, Nichole is an active member of the Wind Bands, Trombone Choir, Hodgson Trombone Ensemble, and the Redcoat Marching Band, where she serves as the trombone rank leader. A highlight of her educational journey was serving as Music Program Coordinator at Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, Georgia (May–July 2025), where she taught music to neurodivergent and neurotypical students ages 7–13. Outside of music, Nichole works at the Ramsey Student Center with the Outdoor Recreation Center and serves as a Franklin College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador. She is proud to be a student of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music and honored to represent it as an ambassador.
