Lily Kate Akins

Lily Kate Akins is a second-year AB Music and AB Art (Photography) double major originally from Brunswick, Georgia. She has participated in many of the university's ensembles including the UGA Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Redcoat Marching Band, and Clarinet Choir. Her primary instrument is clarinet, which she studies with Dr. Ray McClellan, but she also enjoys playing piano and guitar. Lily Kate enjoys being involved in both the Hugh Hodgson School of Music and the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Outside of academics, Lily Kate enjoys playing music at church and with friends, doing creative photoshoots, and being around nature. She is excited to be a part of the ambassador team!
