Professors Heald and Stepanova to perform Tuesday, January 30th at 8 pm in Ramsey Hall

Michael Heald and Liza Stepanova, both professors in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, join forces to bring us an evening of music by Mozart, Clara Schumann, and Robert Schumann. Heald also shall be giving the world première of a new work for solo violin by Dr. Leonard Ball, associate professor emeritus of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music.  Ball, who recently retired from the Theory and Composition area at the School of Music, has had compositions performed across the United States, in Europe, South America, and Japan. Recently, his electronic work has focused on interactivity involving movement (dance) and sound. Ball holds degrees in theory and compositiion from Kansas State University and the University of Memphis.
