Grammy Award-Winning Recording Engineer Brian Losch to Present at School of Music

Brian Losch, Grammy Award winning recording engineer, will be in residence as a Willson Center Distinguished Artist on Monday, January 22, 2018.  His residency will conclude with a public presentation on his work in Edge Recital Hall at 5:30 PM on January 22. His presentation, “Recording Live Orchestra for Broadcast” will focus on and feature examples of his recordings. Included in the discussion will be editing and mixing using Classical genre industry standard equipment such as Pyramix Digital Audio Workstation software. Brian has been honored for his work with two Grammy awards and three Grammy certificates. His production credits include work with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile, Anne-Sophie Mutter, the New York Philharmonic, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
