The Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia is excited to present world-renowned double bassist Milton Masciadri in the next installment of the school's Faculty Artist Series. The performance will be held in Ramsey Hall in the Performing Arts Center on Monday, November 26th at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Masciadri is Professor of Double Bass at UGA’s Hodgson School of Music and has a long, extensive career as a national and international performing artist.

Dr. Masciadri's performance will feature a range of European Romantic composers to American and Latin American composers, including pieces by Franz Schubert, Giovanni Bottesini, Johann Sebastian Bach, and more. Guest performers will include highly lauded pianist and associate professor of piano at UGA David Fung and exceptional mezzo-soprano and vocal faculty, Elizabeth Johnson Knight. The singing quality of the double bass will be emphasized through the repertoire and will be highlighted even more by Dr. Knight's vocal capabilities.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and can be purchased online at pac.uga.edu or by calling the Performing Arts Center Box Office at 706-542-4400. All proceeds go directly to supporting student scholarships. For those unable to attend the concert, live streaming will be available online at music.uga.edu/live-streaming.
