The Bulldog Brass Society, the Hugh Hodgson School of Music’s resident graduate student brass quintet, will hold its fall 2015 recital on Monday, Nov. 16 in Edge Recital Hall at 6:30 p.m.

With Anderson Romero and Geoff Wood on trumpets, Peter Riggs on horn, Matt Norman on trombone and Rachel Matz on tuba, the quintet will perform works from James Barnes, Leonard Bernstein, Victor Ewald, and Vince Gassi.

Led by Phil Smith, professor of trumpet and the William F. and Pamela P. Prokasy Professor in the Arts, the Bulldog Brass Society was founded in 1996 and is a fellowship-endowed graduate chamber group composed of the School of Music's most talented brass musicians.

This recital is free and the public is invited to attend.

The Hugh Hodgson School of Music sponsors more than 350 performances each year. To view the performance calendar, subscribe to the weekly email concert listing or learn more about the School of Music, go to music.uga.edu.
