New Steinway Grand Piano dedicated

Faculty and donors by the new Steinway

The Hugh Hodgson School of Music dedicated its brand new Steinway Concert Grand Piano this past Tuesday. The instrument, a gift to the Hodgson School from Elaine Collier Neal in honor of her husband, Richard Gladstone Neal, Jr., was selected March 14 from the Steinway Gallery in New York City. The dedication culminated in a concert from the HHSOM keyboard faculty.

We express deep gratitude to Elaine Collier Neal for her gift of the new Steinway Concert Grand Piano, a memorial tribute to her husband's love of music. We also appreciate additional support from Merrell and Constance Calhoun and the generous gifts of many donors to the Hugh Hodgson Enhancement Fund.
