Big MTNA wins for HHSOM

Chamber ensembles and students of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music faculty scored big at the Georgia division Music Teachers National Association competitions on Wednesday, November 6. Congratulations to all of the winners!

CHAMBER MUSIC STRING PERFORMANCE COMPETITION

Brandon Quarles, saxophone - Connie Frigo, teacher

 

Martha Gardner and Alexander Ambartsumian, students of HHSOM Professor Levon Ambartsumian, also won the North Carolina MTNA Young Artist String Solo Competition and GA MTNA Junior String Solo Competition, respectively.

Good luck to all first-place participants as they progress to the MTNA regional competitions, held at the University of Louisville January 17-20!
