UGA tubists advance in international solo competition

Image removed.Two DMA candidates in the tuba studio, David McLemore and Simon Wildman, have advanced in the Markneukirchen International Solo Competition for Tuba, to be held in Germany in May. The competition is open to tubists across the globe, and requires competitors to be prepared to perform 14 different pieces of solo music for tuba.

McLemore and Wildman are students of David Zerkel.
