Hodgson School hosts Eastern European Piano Repertoire Symposium

The keyboard faculty at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music is proud to host the Eastern European Piano Repertoire Symposium on Saturday, February 23.

The event features performances, master classes, and lectures throughout the day beginning at 10:15 a.m., all focused on works by composers from eastern Europe. In addition to Hodgson school faculty Peter JutrasEvgeny RivkinMartha Thomas, and Richard Zimdars, the Symposium also features Steven Spooner from the University of Kansas and Victoria Fischer Faw of Elon University.The symposium is offered free of charge.

All events will take place in Edge Recital Hall in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music.  A lunch is available in the East Commons Dining Hall for $11, payable on site with cash, check, or credit card.  Those who want lunch reservations must inform Richard Zimdars by February 18 at rzimdars@uga.edu
