HHSOM Ambassador

Sarah (she/her) is fifth-year music therapy student from Dallas, GA. She has studied voice under Professor Michael Hadary and Dr. Knight. She is also pursuing a minor in gerontology and a certificate in musical theatre performance. She traveled and performed with the Hodgson Singers in Germany this past summer and has been involved in Women's Glee, Repertory Singers, and Symphonic Band during her time at UGA. Sarah has been a part of the Redcoat Marching Band since her freshman year as a trumpet player. She will be returning to the ladder for her third season as the band’s drum major this fall. She is an active member of UGA’s Iota Zeta chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, where she has served as Treasurer and President, as well as a member of the Music Therapy Student Association. In March, she presented her research conducted under Dr. Ellyn Hamm Evans on the Perceptions of Music Therapy Students on Working with Older Adults at the Southeastern Regional Conference of the American Music Therapy Association. She loves UGA and the HHSOM. Go Dawgs!
