The Minneapolis-based flute and guitar duo of Linda Chatterton & Maja Radovanlija was formed in 2015. Their concert programs span 400 years but emphasize contemporary works by composers in the US and throughout the world. Recent international projects include concert tours of Thailand and China; a performance on the GuitarArt Festival in Montenegro; and the world premiere of Aaron Travers’ “Box Gardens” at the Havana International Contemporary Music Festival in Cuba.

In the US, recent projects include a Midwest concert residency as winners of Chamber Music America’s Residency Partnership program, and concerts and master classes at Indiana University, the University of Minnesota, and on the Festival of New Music at Marshall University.

Their newest concert program, “Music of the Americas,” features the premiere of a major new work written for them by Brazilian- American composer Clarice Assad, as winners of Chamber Music America’s Classical Commissioning program. Linda and Maja are also soloists, and Maja is a member of the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet; in these roles, both musicians have commissioned, recorded and premiered hundreds of new works.
