Pre-Screening

Applicaton for graduate study in the keyboard area requires a pre-screening process, so applications must be submitted by the Priority deadline of December 1. Pre-screening materials will be submitted online using DecisionDesk. Please include video or audio recordings of live performance(s) meeting the following requirements:

  • MM in Piano Performance: 15 minutes; must include 3 different solo selections.
  • MM in Piano Pedagogy: 10 minutes; must include 2 different solo selections.
  • MM in Collaborative Piano: 10 minutes; must include 2 different selections.
  • DMA in Piano Performance: 20 minutes; must include 3 different solo selections.

Students selected for an audition will be contacted by the Keyboard Area Chair to schedule an audition. For further information, please contact Dr. Evgeny Rivkin, Piano Area Chair.

Upon invitation, prospective students are encouraged to attend one of the audition dates listed below:

  • Saturday, 1/21/2017
  • Saturday, 2/18/2017
  • Saturday, 2/25/2017
